Service Description

As a certified birth doula, I am able to educate you and your partner on the journey of labor and birth to give you’re the confidence you need for a positive birth experience. There are so many benefits of learning about what is happening in your body: reduced fear, increased confidence, decrease use of pain medication and making informed decisions. This course will introduce you to knowledge and tools that will prepare and empower you for the journey of through what we like to call “laborland.” We will discuss: - your pregnancy so far and what's to come - go thru our birthing your way course to explain labor/birth process - how to prepare for the birth you desire and other possibilities - create your birth plan aka birth preferences -how to cope with contractions and manage labor pain - share ways your partner can support you during birth - virtual doula benefits - newborn care & expectations In-Person is available in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas and San Antonio, Texas
